SHROPSHIRE'S NONCONFORMIST CHAPELS

[former] Whixall Wesleyan Methodist Chapel [former] Whixall Wesleyan Methodist Chapel
This chapel replaced the original Wesleyan chapel on the opposite side of the road. It was built in 1875. The building was registered for solemnizing marriages on 2nd July 1906. The chapel is no longer used for religious purposes, but has been converted to residential use. The owner said in March 2005 that it had been closed about 11 years, which confirmed the date of closure as it was put up for sale in 1995.
