[former] Twitchen Primitive Methodist Chapel, Clunbury This small chapel (measuring 24 ft by 16 ft with a small gallery at one end) was built in 1833 by the Primitive Methodists at a cost of £155 and was opened by Hugh Bourne himself on 22nd December 1833. On Census Sunday 30 March 1851 there were 25 worshippers at their afternoon service and 35 at their evening one; the chapel could accommodate 150 worshippers. In 1855 it was reported that the chapel had been "built many years" and had rather a heavy debt on it, but in that year had paid off £10 of that debt. The building is now almost unrecognisable as a chapel as it was converted to a dwelling following its sale by auction in 1983.
